Definition of punishment: the infliction of a penalty as retribution for an offense

Definition of penalty: the suffering in person, rights, or property

To want punishment is to want suffering.

I am reminded of Eckhart Tolle’s words: The extent of the ego’s inability to recognize itself and see what it is doing is staggering and unbelievable. It will do exactly what it condemns others for and not see it.

The narcissism epidemic on the planet should be no mystery.

Parents, be good to your children.
